Tell lash clients to: 1. Be wary of water for the first 24 hours. 2. Wash and brush lashes daily with a lash cleansing shampoo and reusable lash brush or spoolie as part of daily aftercare. 3. Try sleeping on their backs instead of their sides to avoid fringe lash loss. 4. Resist the urge to twist or pull out lash extensions. 5. Maintain regular fills.

From ancient needling practices to early attempts at creating lash adhesives, lash trends throughout the decades and centuries have all culminated in the creation of strip lashes, eyelash extensions, lash lifts, and lash tints in the 2000s.
Cyanoacrylates are a family of medical grade adhesives used in eyelash extension adhesives. High quality adhesives are lower toxicity and safe to use around the eye. Lash adhesives become stable when they solidify, and their cyanoacrylates have longer "chains" so their reaction is less "reactive". Cyanoacrylates are formulated to adjust for various humidity levels and lash stylist skill levels.
A great lash extension adhesive is made of strong, long-lasting cyanoacrylates with fast dry times, allowing retention bonds to last up to 6-8 weeks. Whether you're a new or seasoned lash artist working in extra humid or extremely dry environments, there's a perfect adhesive for you.
